Jules vedrines square requalification in trappes (78) / delivery expected for 2020

As part of the exterior development requalification of the Jules Védrines Residence located in the Merisiers district in Trappes, the challenge is to give residents a reappropriation of outdoor spaces to become places of life, exchange and sharing.

The square represents, because of its size and vegetation, the ideal space for collective moments. The surroundings will be reworked into large masses of grasses and perennials to replace the existing trampled lawns.

This space will be treated in the form of a «garden square» and no longer dedicated solely as a playground. Access to the halls will be reworked to become places of life by taking the aspect of convivial squares with a safe lighting and the presence of some benches.

Work on accessible terraces in the ground floor will be carried out to offer residents private or shared gardens. Finally, the removal of the parking silo in favor of full foot parking will facilitate access and further open the rear space of housing A, B and C.
