Rehabilitation & extension of the technopolitan SITE at LE creusot (71) / delivery expected in 2022

The rehabilitation and extension of the existing building is intended to receive start-ups and technical digital platforms of Fab Lab and 3D type, with an incubator in the form of co-working spaces, a business incubator and a corporate hotel, classrooms and a multifunctional amphitheater.

The architectural project is based on the remarkable elements of the site including the former high school of 1911 and the great landscape. It develops a large forecourt to the south turned towards the city, that emphasizes the monumental appearance of the existing building, while the volume of the extension opens widely to the north towards the landscape of Vallon. In the interstage thus created, the project develops a large shared central space innervating all the premises, thus becoming a point of passage. Slightly sloping, the space left open to the north allows to discreetly include a landscaped parking in a fold of the ground, and clear a wide terrace.
