High court in poitiers (86) / competition 2012

The historical context of The Feuillants site is the driving force behind a redevelopment process that combines the architectural strength of such a site with new uses linked to the High Court establishment. It is in fact to respond to the use change of the place while preserving the wealth and the architectural heritage by setting up a new vocabulary evoking the justice codes that will give this building all the attributes necessary to its transformation.

The whole site and spaces such as the main courtyard, the service courtyard, the inner courtyard and the upper esplanade, will be recomposed to bring together an overall unity as well as responses to these places uses and to the new functional needs of such an institution.
