WILD GARDEN OF THE PYRENEES
Located in the heart of an exceptional site this ancient farmhouse, a family property, does not have the same use as before. Detached from farming customs, this building finds now a new meaning and uses that to fit in for the long term with its geographical context and landscape.
The image of a generous nature is put forward. The ambiances and garden activities are staged to revive this garden and encourage walking, strolling, meditation or simply contemplation.
SLATE OF THE PYRENEES
The secondary access to the house is via a slate staircase. The stones were carefully chosen in a Pyrenean slate quarry and finely cut before being placed on the ground.
The wild character of the place is underlined by the surrounding rough landscapes. At dusk, delicate lights reveal this singular garden and invite the viewer to dream.
Nuance & reflection
Like a mirror of nature, the water of the pond reflects the green shades of the surrounding vegetation. This place evokes gentleness, tranquility and contemplation to those who grant themselves this freedom of escape.
